Another danger associated with riding a bike in the rain is the lack of visibility when it is raining very hard. The rider could hit someone or something, or someone could hit him. But there are situations when the distance which has to be traveled is very short. If the proper clothes are worn and the appropriate equipment is used, the rain does not have a major effect on the rider.
It becomes easier to control the bike. In order to control the bike when it is raining, the biker should travel at a slow speed. This is because when it is raining the roads become slippery and the rider has a big chance of losing control of his bike and falling. The clothes which the rider should wear should be colored very brightly so that he can be seen by others. Another way to control the bike is by breaking early, because it takes longer to brake when the brakes are wet.
